If you want a spacious apartment in downtown Manhattan and your pre-tax income fits the bands illustrated here, we strongly encourage you to apply to the StuyTown Lottery.

Households with incomes between $41,143 and $232,650 may qualify. While there are other qualifications requirements (i.e. credit history), there is no downside or cost to applying.  The application process can be completed online here.

Applying?  Keep in mind that household income includes but is not limited to:

  • Salary
  • Overtime
  • Hourly Wages
  • Tips
  • Recurring Monetary Gifts
  • Commissions
  • Bonuses
  • Social Security
  • Child Support
  • Total Income for All Household Members

This is an opportunity to lock in an affordable apartment for the long term. There is no income recertification in the future.

Rents and Household Earning Limits advertised are based on current 2020 HUD AMI limits and may be adjusted at the time that new annual guidelines are published by HUD.
